GiveMops meets 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 9:30am
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- What is a MOPS meeting like?
We will have a time of socialization and getting to know each other, followed by a teaching about mothering by a mature “been there, done that…and survived” mom, and then a time to discuss the lesson with the other moms there. After that will be a time for the moms to participate in a creative activity…a craft, demonstration, etc.
- What about the children?
Your children will be cared for by a team of childcare “MOPPETS” workers. Children ages birth-12 months are in a nursery room; ages 1 and 2 are together in one room, and 3+ will be in another.
- Do I have to be a member of First Assembly to attend MOPS?
NO, you do not have to attend First Assembly to attend MOPS ..the only qualification is that you must be a mom of a preschooler (birth – kindergarten age). Bring a friend!
- How much does it cost?
The First Assembly MOPS group requests all moms to make a $5 donation at each meeting to cover expenses such as child care and craft supplies, as well as special events.
